EMC can provide you with applicants that are not on the market. We have an internal database over 10,000 applicants. Our applicants have established a direct relationship with us and they know that we provide them with excellent job opportunities. This is how we are able to provide you with qualified applicants expeditiously. Our search activity searches for not only “active” candidates, but also “passive” candidates not currently on the market. We utilize web services; which include some of the top job board search engines including: Monster, Dice, Career Builder and many more. EMC job postings are distributed to over 15 job boards nationwide.

Screening the Applicant


We want to make sure that you receive that best applicant for your company’s culture and environment, so we screen all of our applicants by telephone. We gather as much information as possible to verify the applicant has a productive work history. Our phone screening process normally takes 25-35 minutes. This helps us to identify our applicant’s strengths and levels of expertise for each particular position.

The Interview Process


Our recruiters complete 30 minute interview secessions with each applicant to help determine the level of expertise and how well the applicant is qualified for each job opportunity.

Face to Face Interview


Face-to-face interviews consist of an applicant interviewing directly with our clients in regards to a specific job opportunity. The face-to face interview process normally takes an hour. This helps us to determine the level of experience, expertise, and suitability to a specific job within each organization.

EMC Registration Process


All applicants must register with EMC via our online website. It is here that the applicant becomes more familiar with EMC and the variety of positions we have available. Our goal is to help quality candidates reach their goals by locating the right job opportunity and meeting their career goals. EMC specializes in Contract Placements as well as Direct Placements. By helping our applicants meet their career objectives, we pride ourselves on the long-term partnerships we develop with you – the employer.

Testing


All applicants are tested based upon their skills and industry requirements.

Reference Checks


All applicants undergo a thorough reference check process to determine past employment history, client relationships, character, and skills-sets. We receive a minimum of three references - one personal and two business related references.

Applicants W-4 Requirements


EMC carefully reviews W-4 requirement standards and ensures compliancy within human resource laws and regulations.

Background Checks


For an additional fee, EMC offers full applicant background checks including criminal, DMV, and credit checks.
